1. Who we are
Vizye ("we", "us") is a domain-drop monitoring service available via the website at vizye.com, the Telegram bot @vizye_bot, and companion mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by an individual entrepreneur. For privacy inquiries contact us at [email protected].
2. Data we collect
2.1 Website
- Language preference cookie ("lang") — stores your chosen interface language (en/ru). Expires after 1 year. This is a strictly necessary functional cookie; no consent banner is required.
- Search queries — transmitted to the backend API to return results. We do not persistently log individual search queries on the website.
- Server logs — standard HTTP logs (IP address, User-Agent, request URL, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
2.2 Telegram bot
When you interact with the Telegram bot, we receive data that Telegram makes available via the Bot API:
- Telegram user ID (numeric identifier)
- Username (if set in your Telegram profile)
- Language code (from your Telegram client settings)
If you create subscriptions, we additionally store your search themes, filter preferences (TLDs, length, styles), and the list of domains already shown to you (for de-duplication).
2.3 Mobile applications
Mobile apps authenticate via Telegram and collect the same data as the bot (section 2.2). Additionally, the app may collect device-level identifiers required by push-notification services (e.g. Firebase Cloud Messaging token). We do not collect precise geolocation, contacts, photos, or any other device data.
3. How we use your data
- Delivering the Service: domain search, daily top, subscription alerts.
- Improving search relevance via text embeddings generated by a third-party AI provider (see section 5).
- Preventing abuse and ensuring operational stability.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising purposes.
4. Cookies and tracking
The website uses a single first-party functional cookie ("lang"). We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party cookies. Outbound links to domain registrars may contain an affiliate identifier that lets the registrar attribute the referral to Vizye; this does not place cookies on your device.
5. Third-party services
- Telegram Bot API — used to send and receive messages. Governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.
- OpenRouter / LLM providers — domain names and search themes are sent to AI models for scoring and embedding. These providers process data under their own privacy policies; no personal user data (IDs, usernames) is included in these requests.
- Domain registrar affiliate links — clicking a domain link takes you to a registrar website. Your interaction with that site is governed by the registrar's privacy policy.
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on infrastructure that we control. Access is restricted to the service operator. We apply reasonable technical measures (encrypted connections, access controls, regular backups) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Data retention
- Account and subscription data — retained while your account exists.
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
- Language preference cookie — up to 1 year (renewed on change).
8. Your rights
You may at any time:
- Delete your subscriptions via the Telegram bot.
- Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to access, rectify, port, and restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Telegram bot or on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
